Love & Victory designer Meg Moorhouse draws her inspiration from Victorian sweetheart jewelry, friendship and love tokens, type design, and tattoos, creating covetable objects worthy of gifting to your nearest and dearest.
After moving to New York, she enjoyed a long stint collaborating with artists at Dieu Donne and then worked as a designer for New York handbag label M Z WALLACE where she worked on the pleated nylon collection to relaunch their U.S. wholesale business. From 2002-2006, Meg co-founded and -designed the quirky accessories label La Voleuse, known for its hand-painted ballet slippers emblazoned with tattoo designs and song lyrics. Her designs have been featured in publications such as WWD Accessories Guide, Lucky, Teen Vogue, and The New York Times Magazine.
Meg lives and works in Brooklyn with her graphic designer husband, Willy, their wee daughter Louella, and their not-so-friendly cat, Beatrice.
